A banda brasileira de Heavy Metal SHAMAN lançou na última semana o segundo clipe de seu mais recente álbum o Origins (2010). As faixas escolhidas para o vídeo foram Ego parte 1 e 2, e já teve sua estréia nacional no jornal Leitura Dinâmica na Rede TV.
Mais uma vez contando com a direção de Alex Batista, também diretor do elogiadíssimo clipe da faixa “Finally Home” do mesmo álbum, essa mais nova produção da banda foi gravada ao vivo no show que ocorreu no mês de abril em Osasco - SP, e conta também com imagens nos bastidores das turnês. Humberto Sobrinho, que gravou o álbum"Infallible," deixou a banda por motivos pessoais.
Na minha opinião o último trabalho da banda não estava à altura da mesma.
Agora sabendo que André Leite, vocal da banda de White Metal IAHWEH, assumiu os vocais, confesso, vou voltar a ouvir a banda. Fiquei curiosa para ouvir o novo trabalho deles.
Conheci o trabalho do novo vocalista ano passado quando do lançamento do clipe da música Neblim, um clipe muito bem produzido que vocês podem assistir no final do post.

A Dramatic Turn of Events é o décimo primeiro álbum de estúdio da banda americana de metal progressivo Dream Theater, lançado dia 13 de setembro de 2011, pela gravadora Roadrunner.
É o primeiro álbum da banda exibindo Mike Mangini na bateria após a saída do baterista fundador Mike Portnoy, em setembro de 2010.
O álbum foi escrito, gravado, mixado e masterizado entre janeiro e junho de 2011 no Estúdio Cove City Sound em Long Island, Nova Iorque. Foi produzido por John Petrucci e mixado por Andy Wallace.
O título e as faixas foram anunciadas em 8 de junho de 2011. A mixagem e a masterização do álbum foram concluídas em uma terça-feira, dia 28 de junho de 2011.
O novo single, "On the Backs of Angels", foi lançado através da conta no YouTube da Roadrunner Records dia 28 de junho de 2011.
